Une série de rencontres, née de la collaboration du Théâtre du Soleil et de Desk Russie, qui donne à entendre la parole d’experts, de journalistes, d'universitaires et d'auteurs ukrainiens, russes et français sur la guerre en Ukraine.

HUIT FEMMES À BOBIGNY
Face aux violences conjugales, aux inégalités, à la précarité, huit femmes élèvent un bouclier d’entraide et donnent à entendre des formes de solidarité et de combativité. Hausser la voix, parler ensemble pour mieux se faire entendre.

Dans ces quatre épisodes, nous vous proposons donc de vous plonger dans des univers professionnels divers. Au-delà des tâches et des savoir-faire, nous écoutons les rêves, les espoirs, les attachements et autres contraintes qui pèsent sur ces habitants des zones rurales. Nous tendons nos micros pour capter les histoires de transmissions, d’amitiés et de hiérarchies qui font le cœur de la vie rurale.

Making Waves focuses on three areas of activity, aiming to be inclusive, social and of general interest :
Making Waves installs in France and around the world Radioboxes, simplified nomadic radio studios that enable everyone to make their voices and ideas heard.
Making Waves uses the tools of radio to promote the social and professional inclusion of vulnerable people, in precarious situations or far from employment.
Making Waves creates audio series, podcasts and immersive journeys with radio stations, museums, theaters, festivals and public institutions.
A radio creates opportunities for unprecedented encounters, encourages the pooling of knowledge and the structuring of collective projects.
By creating links where they may be lacking, radio can be a powerful, unifying mobilization tool.
RADIOBOXES SET UP WITH THE FRENCH INSTITUTE FOR CIVIL SOCIETY
Four Radioboxes have been acquired by the French Institutes in Morocco and Lebanon. These will be used in different cities and made available to journalists, schools, libraries and NGOs.
INSTALLATION OF TWELVE RADIOBOXES IN UKRAINE WITH UNESCO
Twelve Radioboxes and four FM transmitters were built by Making Waves and sent to various war-affected towns in Ukraine to replace radio studios destroyed by the Russian army.
A PROJECT CO-CONSTRUCTED WITH AFD AND THE NGO DES LIVRES POUR TOUS
L’Afrique en conte is a program working to install, in Ivorian libraries and schools, Radioboxes for teachers, librarians and students.
A RADIO STATION FOR THE HOMELESS CREATED BY THE ASSOCIATION LA CLOCHE
Four Radioboxes have been set up with the La Cloche non-profit organization, so that homeless or exiled people can create Radio Bitume and produce their own podcasts and broadcasts.
OUR TOOL, THE RADIOBOX
Radioboxes have only a few control buttons and simple outputs.
Anyone can use Radioboxes to make their radio stations without any technical skills, thanks to its intuitive setup, color coding and pictograms.
The Radiobox is 8.6 in. x 11.8 in. and weighs 6 pounds. It is battery operated and fits in a backpack, along with its wires, microphones, loudspeakers and headphones.
With its steel case, extremely robust materials, hand-welded components, the Radiobox is a highly resistant studio recording system that is shock/weather-proof.
