FRANCE

This podcast series is a sensitive and lively record of radio workshops led by producer Cerise Maréchaud at the Centre Dutot in Paris, a day hospital that cares for young people aged 11 to 16 with severe psychological disorders and autism.

In this blue box—our Radiobox, a recording device that has become a place of expression—these teenagers deposit their words, their silences, their bursts of laughter. They talk about love, their dreams, life at school, family ties, what upsets them or keeps them going.

As the group sessions progress, voices rise, gain confidence, and find their rhythm. Tongues loosen, eyes meet, carried by a safe, caring space where people can finally express themselves, share their stories, and open up to themselves and the world.
