CENTRE PÉNTITENCIAIRE DE PARIS – LA SANTÉ | 2022-2023

This series of fictions was written, performed and sounded by people during their detention at the Paris Penitentiary – La Santé. They drew inspiration for their stories from paintings in the permanent collection of the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.

These workshops and the creation of this series were conceived by Mariannick Bellot and Mathilde Guermonprez in partnership with Making Waves, MAM and the staff of the SPIP de Paris – La Santé. They were supported by the Fondation de France, the Fondation Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, the Mairie de Paris, the SPIP 75 (Paris – La Santé), and the Fondation Humanités, Digital et Numérique.
