PENSER LE 9-3
IN THE FIELD OF IDEAS

SEINE-SAINT-DENIS | 2023

Penser le 9-3 (Thinking the 9-3) takes you on a journey through Seine-Saint-Denis, far from the clichés and TV news. Here, in the heart of the département 93, we’ll be taking a microphone with researchers to better understand the département in all its diversity and contradictions. Many of them work in the département, yet their work is often ignored by those who live and work there. The time has come to highlight and discuss this work. So it’s time to bring this work to light and discuss it.

This first series of 4 episodes, each lasting around 35 minutes, is about commitment. It’s about the commitment of the researchers who work on this département and its working-class neighborhoods, but also about the commitment of the citizens of 93 to the political scene. Their commitment to urban renewal or to defending their right to nature in the city. And also the necessary professional commitment of the youth workers who accompany the area’s young people in the face of the inequalities they suffer.
