AUCH | 2022

Le grand terrassement is a documentary experiment produced during Fabienne Laumonier’s artist residency at the Lycée Agricole de Beaulieu-Lavacant in Auch. Fabienne suggested a radio hike along the GR65, which loops through the Gers region. The hike lasted six days. Fabienne slept along the way, and each morning a new group of students joined her for a day’s walk. Microphones and recorders were provided.

Le grand terrassement is all about encounters along the way. A succession of radio surprises that leave us in suspense.

Invited by Frédéric Rouzies and Natacha Robert, teachers at the Lycée Agricole in Auch and creators of Abloc radio, the Lycée’s webradio station.
