Al Mawjet
A TEMPORARY, TRAVELLING, RADIO CHANNEL BY TUNISIAN HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENTS

TUNIS / 2020-2021

Al Mawjet Radio is a one-off radio channel created by the French Institute in Tunisia and hosted by high-school students from all 26 governorates in the country. Each series of programs has one or several school partners and addresses current political or cultural events in Tunisia. The next scheduled summit is the 2021 World French-speaking Summit.

Every Al Mawjet Radio project has three steps. First, we invite children from different schools to think about the way they could create a program about an event and a theme given by the French Institute of Tunisia Media professionals then come to the classes in the various Tunisian governorates to organize and prepare the programs with the pupils. Lastly, the programs are recorded on location, where the events covered by the radio take place. We interview many guests, organize duplex interviews, create and record reports, branding and jingles for the program.

RADIO AL MAWJET

Al Mawjet Radioprograms are made accessible via Radiobox on all the Institut Français social media platforms and via Tunisian nonprofit radio stations.
